Andrew Beckman: President, abeckman@location3.com
Andrew Beckman oversees the strategic direction and business growth of Location3 Media and provides insight into new market trends and technologies. Beckman’s keen business insight and technology expertise enable him to seek and establish strategic alliances with companies that can provide more value for his clients.
Prior to establishing Location3 Media, Inc. in October 1999, Andrew Beckman was the international sales manager for DoubleClick, the Internet's leading advertising distribution network. During this time, Beckman assisted in opening up DoubleClick Deutschland, Benelux and their International headquarters in Dublin. He helped DoubleClick gain market share in Israel, South Africa and South East Asia. Beckman watched the Internet, long dominated by U.S. consumers, expand to these emerging markets. He recognized that the Internet would provide growing online businesses with a gateway to reach users all over the world. To fulfill his vision, Andrew founded an interactive advertising agency to provide online businesses with complete marketing solutions. Location3 Media, Inc. helps companies develop with speed and ease in order to be recognized globally.
Beckman sits on the Search Marketing Council for Direct Marketing Association, has delivered rousing speeches at numerous conferences and has been published in several industry journals. He was recently named a semi-finalist for the Rocky Mountain Region Ernst & Young 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year Award for his innovative business approach and success within the industry. Beckman graduated from the University of Maryland in 1996 with a bachelor of science degree in international business.

Alex Porter: Vice President, Business Development, aporter@location3.com
As vice president, Alex Porter forges seamless relations between Location3 Media and prospective clients. He educates them on the value and power of effective search engine marketing, foresees and resolves all conceivable contentions and establishes mutually beneficial relationships. Porter also manages day-to-day operations, practicing a hands-on approach with existing clients to ensure customer needs are constantly met and exceeded. Porter is the ideal emissary for business negotiations—he possesses a thorough understanding of both the search marketing industry and the nature of human desire.
Porter pioneered the development of Hispanic Targeting, a recent addition to the Location3 Media family. Hispanic Targeting is a full-service search engine marketing division focused on targeting the U.S. Hispanic and Latino population. Porter is currently heading up this new venture—conversing with high-end search advertisers that are looking to reach the Hispanic market and designing comprehensive campaigns that effectively represent the Hispanic experience.
Prior to joining SearchAdNetwork in 2003, Porter was an associate at Cooks Associate, a boutique executive recruiting firm in Boulder, CO, where he focused on retail, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. Porter graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park with a bachelor of science degree in psychology and a master’s degree in kinesiology with a focus on sports psychology.
Porter recently welcomed a new addition to his family. When not teaching the mini-Porter all about sports, he can often be found biking, camping and snowboarding in the majestic Rocky Mountains.

Samantha Bedford: Vice President, Client Services and Analytics, sbedford@location3.com
Samantha Bedford was a driving force behind SearchAdNetwork’s launch in 2003. She now plays an active role in keeping the company’s technology and services on the leading edge. Bedford maintains client satisfaction by working with developers to design and test client-driven system modifications—analyzing competitive offerings to recommend system enhancements and maintaining an open line of communication with clients. Recently, Bedford spearheaded efforts to integrate a web analytics offering into Location3 Media’s services; she took responsibility of system implementation and now heads up the analytics department. Utilizing her fine-tuned leadership skills and natural aptitude for organization, Bedford also maintains the highest quality of campaign performance by overseeing the campaign management department.
Prior to joining Location3 Media, Inc. in 2002, Bedford worked with high-profile retail brands such as Shoprite, Checkers and OK, focusing on traditional offline marketing. Following a stint at Hunt Lascaris - Tequila Cape where she was the account manager for the Tiger Brands Group, Bedford went to work for ForwardSLASH, Inc. While performing as a senior media marketer, she worked with a diverse range of interactive publishers and clients, and brings to Location3 Media a wealth of knowledge on the interactive media front.
Bedford is a certified Ambassador for Yahoo!, a recognized Google AdWords Professional and a member of the Web Analytics Standards Council with the Web Analytics Association. She graduated from the AAA School of Advertising in Cape Town, South Africa with a bachelor of arts degree in marketing communications and a bachelor of arts degree in media management.
Bedford is a born explorer and enjoys experiencing new places and cultures. Her travels have taken her to England, South Africa and most recently to the United States. Bedford’s other hobbies include photography, painting, sketching and reading.
